This book reminds me a lot of Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen, except I like it better. I do wonder how much you're writing is influenced by Bujold?
ReplyDeleteA fair bit, I expect. I've read a lot of her books! I'm more influenced by Norton, McKinley and Jones, but Bujold is definitely up there.
