I don't think it's very likely I'll finish Snug Ship this year (though first quarter next year is likely). And that will push Tangleways to the end of next year.
I am enjoying writing Snug Ship immensely, at least, though it's rather more complex than I anticipated (and at the same time has a non-typical story structure). I'm looking forward to sharing it with you all!
So what is an MMO?
ReplyDeleteThe full acronym is MMORPG, which stands for Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game. The particular one I'm playing is Final Fantasy XIV. It's basically a computer game that other players (10 million in the case of FFXIV) are all playing together on servers.
ReplyDeleteWorld of Warcraft is probably the best known example of this.
No Worries! It just means I have longer to convert people over to your books! I can't wait :D
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading it whenever it comes out.
ReplyDeleteSnug Ship is on my IT-MUST-BE-MINE reading list! The virtual world snippets in Stray tickled me pink and I'm highly curious as to your MMO Resume, mostly for comparison purposes and further SQWEEEE fangirling!
ReplyDeleteBlog swallowed my name?!?

The first MMO I played was a MUD, and Rogue, and then I played the trial of The Realm, but my first real MMO was Final Fantasy XI. From there I went to WoW, SW:TOR, Warhammer Online, GuildWars 2, and FFXIV.
DeleteOh, and LOTRO.
