Touchstone Trilogy - French Edition

Cover of French Edition of Stray
Some news for the Touchstone fans. The wonderful Justine of Seraminda Editions has faced down the truly daunting task of translating Cass' Aussie ramblings into French!  And Stray is only a handful of days away from release!

You can hear/ask more about the translation process and release at Justine's Insta, or even pre-order the Kindle edition at Amazon FR.

This is my first translated volume to make it to the shelves, and I'm tickled at the existence of a book I wrote, that I can't read.

[French is actually one of the languages where I can get the gist of quite a few of the sentences, but not necessarily end up understanding what's going on.]

Anyway, thank you Justine for all the amazing work that has gone into this translation!

  2. Excellent timing! I just shared it with a francophone reader looking for recommendations in a fantasy discussion group.

Just curious about the title as it is much more explicit than the English one. Did you give any directions or was it the proposal from the translator?

While we're on the same topic, I discovered that The Hero and The Crown by Robin McKinley is named "Casque de feu". I'm really scratching my head on this one.

  6. Will the French translation make it to Kobo? Or could I purchase it direct from you? I like to (try to) read the occasional book in French to keep up my language skills.

    1. So far as I'm aware, they won't be on Kobo in the near future. As I'm not the direct publisher, I don't control copies or sales outlets.
